  • Customer: Any person or organisation purchasing goods or services from Re-CAL Ltd.
  • Goods: Products, spares, calibration certificates, and test equipment supplied by Re-CAL Ltd.
  • Services: Calibration and related activities, including equipment collection and return
  • Courier: Logistics provider approved by the Company for the collection and return of equipment
  • Website: www.recal.biz — our online platform for placing orders and accessing information

2. Our Services

We offer:

  • Calibration of mechanical and electrical test instruments
  • Equipment collection and return services across the UK
  • Online ordering for calibration, spare parts, and products

3. Placing an Order

Orders can be made:

  • Through our website
  • Via authorised distributors or representatives
  • By direct communication with our team

Once we receive your order, we’ll confirm pricing, requirements, and turnaround times.


4. Collection & Delivery

You can choose:

  • Re-CAL’s internal delivery service
  • Our designated courier, available during order checkout or by request

All equipment must be securely packaged and ready for pickup at the agreed time. A signed delivery receipt is required upon return. We are not responsible for delays or damage due to incorrect shipping details or poor packaging.


5. Packaging Requirements

Before collection or shipping, customers must ensure:

  • Equipment is placed in durable, sealed boxes
  • Items are cushioned inside to avoid impact damage
  • Packaging prevents contents from falling out or being exposed

Re-CAL Ltd. accepts no liability for loss or damage caused by inadequate packaging. If an issue occurs during transit, customers are responsible for initiating claims with their chosen courier.


6. Lost Parcels

If you use Re-CAL’s designated courier:

  • Our courier accepts responsibility for your equipment once all packaging requirements have been met
  • If a parcel is lost while in our courier’s care, Re-CAL will assist in filing a claim and seeking resolution
  • Claims may be denied if the packaging guidelines were not followed or if the pickup was mismanaged

If you use your own courier:

  • You are responsible for the equipment until it arrives safely and is goods-received at Re-CAL Ltd.
  • We do not accept liability for damage, delay, or loss while the item is in transit with your selected courier

7. Pricing & Payment

  • Prices exclude VAT unless stated otherwise
  • Authorised account holders/distributors: 30-day payment terms from invoice date
  • Online customers: Payment is required in full at checkout
  • Late payments may incur administrative and interest charges

8. Warranty & Liability

  • Calibration certificates are valid for the stated duration and include full traceability
  • Liability is limited to the value of the affected service or item
  • Re-CAL Ltd. is not liable for indirect or consequential damages

9. Returns & Cancellations

  • Products may be returned within 14 days if unopened, unused, and in original condition (subject to inspection and restocking fees)
  • Calibration and service orders cannot be cancelled once work has started
  • Faulty items will be reviewed and may be repaired, replaced, or refunded

10. Intellectual Property

All content and documents provided by Re-CAL Ltd. remain our intellectual property. They must not be copied, published, or redistributed without written permission.


11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. All legal disputes will be resolved within the jurisdiction of its courts.
